During the last ten years Keith Myers has focused much of his blood, sweat, and beers into rocking the hardest, most bad ass, kick you in the balls house music you will ever hear. With roots deeply stretched out in the San Francisco rave scene and cyber-trance culture, Keith progressed from playing parties in the early days to performing at sold-out, exclusive club nights in Amsterdam and Las Vegas. During the last year Keith graced the A-listers in Las Vegas while playing PURE at Caesars Palace and the Ghost Bar at the top of the Palms. Recently spotted playing alongside some of the worlds greatest DJs Keith Myers rocked the floor at FUR in DC with George Acosta and held it down in Amsterdam playing with Mark van Dale at one of Europe's hottest nightclubs, Escape. During his adventures Keith Myers found himself managing a small venue in Ventura, California. Booking talent and trying to build the vibe was difficult work, but playing this side of the fence earned Keith the respect of many southern California DJs, including many of LA's best breaks DJs. This is when the Keith Myers sound transformed from the occasional breaks record into a mixing pot of house and breaks without limits. After moving from Hollywood to Seattle Keith has been spending extra time working in the studio and playing hacker events with his silly friends all over the world.
Mark Strauss's musical background began with the ubiquitous classical piano training starting at the age of 7. 11 years of training later, with a firm melodic foundation formed, his interests diversified. He moved on to writing original pieces with guitar and piano, and in 1998 he picked up his first set of turntables. Waxing and Waning from hip-hop to electronic in the first years of his DJ career, Mark cut his teeth in the Cincinnati music scene, playing at various clubs and eventually opening up for Moby at the MTV Campus Invasion tour at Miami University. As a student at Miami, Mark also took advantage of what the University had to offer, picking up a Music minor, acting as a teaching assistant for electronic music courses, and holding a rewarding job as recording engineer for the Miami University Orchestra Ensembles. In the years since he's transplanted himself in Cleveland, Mark has invested all possible resources into the art of DJ'ing and music production, becoming a devoted student of the art. His current endeavours merge his computer science background by performing live improvisational laptop sets utilizing Ableton Live & various hardware controllers, as well as writing his own software plugins for use in audio production.
