We're nearing Notacon 2008 and we're looking for talent to be portrayed as a piece of Notacon history! If you're looking for a way to contribute your artistic ability to Notacon, here's your chance! Design the art for an official Notacon and/or Blockparty shirt! As always, the themes are art, music, and technology. We encourage you to let your imagination run wild and be as creative as you want to be.
Submissions Due: March 1, 2008
Design Requirements
- Art must be Adobe Photoshop (*.psd) at 600dpi or Adobe Illustrator (*.eps or *.ai) format.
- Please limit the design to 4 colors on your 'main' side and 1 color on the other side. Each color must be in it's own layer since each screen is a separate layer. Also indicate in which order you would like the layers applied, if necessary.
- Optionally, specify the color of the shirt(background). We may not be able to do exact matching, but will do our best to do so.
- Minimum design width of 6" (3600px if *.psd) on your 'main' side. Maximum size is 12" x 12" (7200px x 7200px).
Though not required, we strongly encourage incorporation of the word "Notacon" and/or "Blockparty" on the shirt, as well as the dates of the event (April 4 - 6, 2008) and the location (Cleveland, Ohio). We may add this information to your entry if we feel it would be in good taste. Use of the NAC and Blockparty logos is also encouraged.
Shirt designs _must_ be appropriate. A design can be edgy, but the judging panel reserve the right to deem a shirt inappropriate. You can trust that we do have a sense of humor!
Submission Procedure
Email submissions to tshirt2008@notacon.org. Submissions must be received by March 1, 2008 at 11:59pm.
Files must be named with the format [your_name_or_handle]-[#]-{front,back}.{psd,eps,ai,txt}. Increment the number for multiple submissions. Replace spaces in your handle with underscores (_). Enclosing brackets not required. Ex: Kris_Suter-2-front.psd
